Dear Alumni and Friends,
Greetings & Roll Tide! It is now time to renew your membership to the Jefferson County Chapter of The University of Alabama Alumni Association for 2025-26. With your membership, our Chapter has supported the University for decades with scholarships, college recruitment, and a spirit of fellowship among the alumni by having fun and educational events. With respect to scholarships, our Chapter has 49 endowed scholarships gifting more than $40,000 per year to area students who attend The University of Alabama.
We have big plans this year and hope that you can join us for our many events.
- Kickoff Party! Monday, August 18 at Back Forty Brewery (Sloss Docks 3201 1st Ave N., Bham, AL 35222) Doors open at 5:30 pm, program starts at 6:00 pm with notable speakers and there will be heavy hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and additional food for purchase. The event fee for members is $10 ($25 for non-members). This is a family friendly event and children under 10 are included for free.
- Chapter Football Watch Party October 11, Missouri, 11:00 am, The Fennec (1630 2nd Ave S., Bham, AL)
- Chapter Football Watch Party October 25, South Carolina, TBD, at The Fennec.
- Bama Lunch Bunch Monthly meetings with notable guest speakers at various lunch places.
- Basketball Event December 13 prior to the Arizona vs. Alabama matchup at the Legacy Arena (BJCC)
- Potential events involving Basketball, Gymnastics, Baseball, Softball, etc. and other fun events.
We need your support to promote the University. Thank you for renewing your membership. We appreciate your generosity and hope to see you at the Kickoff Party on Monday, August 18, 2025. If you are unable to attend, please renew your dues now so that we can keep you informed about our chapter activities.
